New Winery Opens In Alabaster

Corbin Farms Winery has opened in Alabaster where the former Vizzini Farms Winery was located.

A new winery has opened in Shelby County in the spot where the former Vizzini Farms Winery was located for more than a decade. Corbin Farms Winery will take its place, and will continue to grow muscadine grapes and make their wine on site.

A report by the Birmingham Business Journal said until the winery’s red noble and white carlos muscadine plants produce fruit in fall 2020, the Corbins are using grapes from the Southeast, California, New York, Oregon, Virginia and Washington to make wine.
